Anne is originally from northern France, and has lived in Brooklyn for the past 17 years.  Anne has always been fascinated by colors and began her career in Paris as a make-up artist. After raising her 3 children, she went back to school at NYU and studied art direction for film.

Anne takes advantage of having the opportunity to travel  as a member on film crews to develop her interest in capturing beautiful colors around the world with her digital camera.

WALL*ART is a series of 10 photographs taken in the state of Bahia (Brazil) between 2003 and 2006.

This work is about the texture and the color of the house’s walls after the rain season. In a time where people rebuild, renovate and repair any building, the objective is to show that nature, left to itself, often generates beauties superior to what men can produce.
